IMPRINT

How do we reconcile all by which we are touched? How do we make the sum? How do we make sense of it all (or not)? What do we keep? What do we let go of? Imprint, a solo for Diallo premiered in the summer of 2009, is an attempt to touch on some of these questions and embody the tensions they carry. A minimal set, a few objects and the lone presence of the performer form the canvas for this exploration, making of Imprint a ‘travelling light’ production.

“One of the highlights of the festival was the premiere of Bristol based Laila Diallo’s new solo Imprint (…) a real joy to watch.”
