Hold Everything Dear (working title)
In August Laïla begun research for a new work, exploring ideas of migration and displacement. Supported by the ICIA at the University of Bath, the National Lottery through Arts Council England and ROH2 at the Royal Opera House, this research and development phase was the first step towards the creation of a full-length piece for five performers and live music scheduled to premiere at the Linbury Theatre, Royal Opera House, at the beginning of 2012.

Touring
Laïla’s latest works, Imprint and At-any-moment-something-else, will be available for touring in spring/summer 2011 and autumn 2011
Outstanding dancers of the year
22 writers from around the world were asked by Dance Europe magazine to name dancers who had given, in their opinion, the most outstanding performances during last season. Laïla won writer Aoife McGrawth’s vote for her performance of The Wayside and Between the Shingle and the Dune at Dublin Dance Festival.
Maternity leave
From November 2011 to April 2012, Laïla will be on maternity leave.
